# How to Vote: Step By Step

## What You Need Before Starting

Once you have this, you are ready to vote, you just have to follow the next steps

### 1 ° Connect your wallet

1. Visit the [Governance portal ](https://vote.xcadnetwork.com/)
2. Connect your ZIL wallet, selecting the ***CONNECT WALLET*** button\

3. When you select that button, the site will open a pop-up window, which will ask you for 2 actions, the first is to connect your Zilpay

When you select the **Connect Zilpay** button the site will communicate with your Zilpay Wallet and it will request confirmation to continue.&#x20;

4. &#x20;Once you have connected your Zilpay the button will switch from Connect Zilpay to Login and now you just need to login\
   &#x20;           &#x20;

5. Once logged in you are ready to vote.&#x20;

### 2° Search for an Open Poll

The open and most popular polls can be seen on the main page of the site, but also these are classified into 2 categories.

* **XCAD TEAM -** containing the polls published by the Xcad Network team
* **CREATOR -** here will be the polls of your creators. Soon you will have more news about its operation

In addition, the site ranks Poll by,

* **Vote Now –** open polls,&#x20;
* **Coming Soon –** polls that have been created but are not yet available for voting, and&#x20;
* **Finished –** completed polls.

### 3° Cast Your Vote

To be able to vote you must select a Poll, the site will redirect you to the detailed view of it where you can read in-depth about the proposal and then choose one of the options<br>
