# CLO Launchpad

### What is the XCAD Launchpad?

The [CLO Launchpad](https://launchpad.xcadnetwork.com/) is another component of the XCAD Ecosystem which raises funds for the initial liquidity of a creator. Think of it as a traditional launchpad but instead of the funds going to the creator they get locked in liquidity, taking XCAD tokens off the market.

### What is a CLO?

CLO stands for **Creator Liquidity Offering**. It’s a way of bootstrapping Liquidity for the Creator Token. CLOs allow users to get hold of Creator tokens early - before they trade and before users can earn them. Users put XCADs into the CLO, those XCADs are paired with Creator tokens and locked into liquidity forever (Which to us is better than burning as the tokens have utility). In return, they receive a number of Creator Tokens in proportion to the amount of the pool they own.

### How does a CLO help $XCAD token's deflation?

If you take an average Creator CLO of 15,000 XCADs, then consider we’ve already announced 60 Creators. That means, 900,000 XCADs are due to be locked in liquidity. This equates to 4.6% of the current circulating supply.

| Number of Creators | Est. XCAD amount per CLO | Total XCAD Locked in Liquidity |
| ------------------ | ------------------------ | ------------------------------ |
| 28                 | 20,000                   | 560,000                        |
| 50                 | 25,000                   | 1,250,000                      |
| 100                | 25,000                   | 2,500,000                      |
| 500                | 17,500                   | 8,750,000                      |

{% hint style="success" %}
These are only the Creators we have announced thus far, we have many more still to announce. We are also due to open tokenization up to all Creators soon.
{% endhint %}
